Anna Byrdy and Monika Leitner’s video installation is about dance in a general sense. Within the context of contemporary music video clips, night clubs and cabaret casting situations, cliches of dance and dancers are presented in front of intentionally sporadic, amateurish
backgrounds.

The image of dance is parodied to the extreme and becomes banal by means of the atmosphere and caricaturesque movements, creating in turn, moments that disturb or are curious, comical and at times even satirical.
